The Crucible

Winner of 8 Tony Awards, The Crucible is one of the most acclaimed plays in the American theatrical canon. This exciting drama about the Puritan purge of witchcraft in old Salem is a gripping and timely parable of contemporary society, as well as a studied historical tale.
The story focuses upon a young farmer, his wife and a young servant-girl who maliciously causes the wife’s arrest for witchcraft. The farmer brings the girl to court to admit the lie – and the monstrous course of bigotry and deceit is terrifyingly depicted. The farmer, instead of saving his wife, finds himself also accused of witchcraft and ultimately condemned along with a host of others.
Our intimate production will invite the audience to sit with us on the stage at the outdoor, atmospheric Forest Theater in this one of a kind production.
Hedwig and the Angry Inch

This groundbreaking, Obie-winning off-Broadway smash also won multiple awards for its hit film adaptation and Broadway revival.
In a powerhouse one-night-only concert, “internationally ignored song stylist” Hedwig Schmidt takes to the stage to smash the fourth wall and rock the house. Hedwig, an East German rock ’n’ roll goddess, happens to be the victim of a botched sex-change operation, which has left her with an “angry inch.” Hedwig (née Hansel) explains her story in the form of a rock gig/stand-up comedy routine, backed by a hard-rocking band called “The Angry Inch.” Through head-banging anthems and heartfelt rock ballads, Hedwig describes her life’s search for “The Origin of Love” and a reunion with her other half.
It’s a rocking ride – funny, touching, and ultimately inspiring to anyone who feels life gave them an inch when they deserved a mile.
Twelfth Night

The swinging 60s are back in this groovy new take on Shakespeare’s hilarious romantic comedy, Twelfth Night.
Inspired by the tough chicks, cool cats, and far out tunes of teen surfer movies, this rocking and rolling show gets the audience up and dancing to new original songs by Durham singer-songwriter Amelia Riggs.
After a set of twins washes up on the sandy shores of Illyria, they jump into a whirlwind of drunken brawls, police chases, practical jokes, guitar solos, saucy one-liners, and more goofs than an episode of “Laugh-In.” With mistaken identities and far-out gender-bending, you never know who you might end up kissing by the camp fire!
Urinetown – The Musical

In a Gotham-like city, a terrible water shortage, caused by a 20-year drought, has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity’s most basic needs. Amid the people, a hero decides that he’s had enough and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom!
